I remember a while back, oxbridgefemme was bitching about how none of her friends go to fight the people who harass her, and we eventually came to the conclusion that having someone fight you battles is actually pretty demeaning and makes you look like you're in grade school. I mean, if you send people to go 'do your bidding', it's... well, kind of pitiful. Actually, as I found out recently when someone trolled me on behalf of her friend, the person in question isn't always necessarily asking to be 'defended' and it just leads to epic facepalming.

But as it would seem, the group intent on harassing Sophie is juvenile and she was trolled... again. They did the whole sock puppet thing and were trying to befriend her, and when she was talking to them they trolled her. It was just like... okay, your scheme lasted like twenty minutes from start to finish, and seems to rely on the false belief that you won't just be blocked within thirty seconds of trolling. What. XD

Honestly, it's been ten months and they still do this. It boggles the mind. I don't think it had the intended effect, as we were all far too amused by how childish it was to be terribly offended. We were also playing Zelda: Wind waker and making cookies anyway... That's like a wank repellant.



Fic-wise, I am not dead. I am working on a huge project with dreams_of_all. If you don't recognize the name, it's the girl who wrote Sheer Dumb Luck, the Ratchet x Constructicons fic that was AMAZING. This is sort of one of those situations of "if you could collaborate with anyone in the world, who would it be?" and I'm so doing that. Exciting!

It's movieverse. I'm saying nothing more.

I wanna pair Wesker (from Resident Evil) with a Transformer. >:

It hurts me so much he would be best with Drift.

Which means one of two things.

(a) I'm pratically pairing Wesker with a Gary Stu!
(b) They can actually be Gary Stus together!

I really can't see Wesker with anything other than a white/silver sports car, and Sideways and Sideswipe are sort of taken in my mind, and Jazz is a no.

If there is one thing about the Transformers: ROTF movie that I am disappointed with, it's the fact that I'm unable to form an OTP (aside from the ever obvious Megatron x Starscream) to friggen obsess over (which is my fault, not Bay's, duh XD I'm just bitching). Since I'm practically dying to write movie verse fanfic, this is... stopping me from doing anything with it. So it's just going to sit in my headspace and collect dust forever, I suppose.

I'm so not complaining that my hopeful OTP was going to be Sideswipe x Sideways.

...Goddamn it Sideswipe. You destroyed my chance at a pretty Bayformers OTP. Plus it would have been like Waveslash. Sideslash would have been cool to ship!

Though to be perfectly honest, I might still try to do something with that pairing. I mean, I did Oil Slick x Cyclonus. However~ ( smallspoiler )

In order news, working on a stupidly long fic to post after Toxicity is done. Maybe in a week or two I'll start putting it up... TFA, and it's about Jazz.

Sophie just got on the plane to Seattle (she was stuck in Chicago for a layover uh... all day). So excited. >_> The trip from England is a long and perilous one, I would imagine.

You know, Noa, I think it's rather disgustingly funny how, after people post things about characters, you go and bash them, whether indirectly or directly. I remember this happening twice, with Sentinel and now with Drift. Did it ever occur to you that people who post things about characters they love (or dislike) don't want to see you bash their opinions directly after? Keep your opinions to yourself, especially when they pertain immediately to posts friends have made.

You're acting like a self-righteous, selfish little bastard, so knock it off. And not posting about character hate? Bull. I know for a fact you hate quite a few characters that most people like due to a post of yours, and that's just fine, but you don't need to post something just after someone else has posted about that character. I know you don't care much because you're pretentious and careless, but things you say CAN hurt other people.

Mostly, this is really my fault. Aside from the fact that people still do honestly harass me (mostly to write G1 - I write TFA now, and I'm getting a lot of flak for it), a lot of these problems are really just in my own head. I have allowed myself to be used to the extent that I have been, and I allow myself to be emotional and insecure. So no, I am not mad at anyone for liking Drift or disliking Sentinel anymore. It's fine, really.
